Before You Begin
You need an active MYCURE v10 account with appropriate permissions
You should be familiar with basic navigation in the MYCURE interface
The patient you want to update must already exist in the system
Steps
1. Access the Patient List
Navigate to the main dashboard and click on the "Patients" section in the navigation menu. This will display all patients currently registered in the system.
2. Select the Patient to Update
Browse through the patient list or use the search function to find the specific patient whose information you need to update. Click on the three dots button and choose "Edit" from the options.
3. Enter Edit Mode
Clicking this button will switch the view to editing mode, allowing you to modify the patient's information.
4. Make Your Changes
With the patient record now in edit mode, you can update any of the available fields:
Personal information (name, date of birth, gender)
Contact details (phone, email, address)
Insurance information
Medical history or notes
Make all necessary changes to the patient information.
5. Save the Updates
After making all desired changes, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form. The system will process your changes and, if successful, return you to the patient card view with the updated information displayed.
Tips and Common Issues
Tip:
Use the search function at the top of the patient list to quickly find patients by name, ID number, or contact information.
Note:
All required fields (usually marked with an asterisk *) must contain valid information before you can save the changes.
Warning:
Always double-check sensitive information like birth dates and identification numbers before saving changes, as these can affect billing and medical records.
Troubleshooting
Changes not saving - Make sure all required fields are filled and in the correct format. Also verify your internet connection is stable.
Edit button not visible - You may not have the proper permissions to edit patient information. Contact your system administrator.
Error messages when updating - Take note of the specific error message and ensure the data format is correct (e.g., phone numbers, email addresses). If problems persist, contact support@mycure.md for assistance.
