Note:
The Billing Accounts page displays a list of all patient accounts with billing information. If you don't see the Billing option in your navigation bar, you may not have the required permissions.
2. Filtering Patient Accounts
On the Billing Accounts page, click the Filter button located at the top of the page
The filter panel will open, displaying various filtering options
Select Sex to filter patients by gender

Method 1: Direct click
Simply click directly on any patient record in the list
Method 2: Using the Actions menu

Tip:
Date filtering is particularly useful for reviewing billing history or finding specific transactions within a time period.
5. Accessing Invoice Information
When viewing a patient's billing account details:
Under the Actions column, choose one of two options:
Preview invoice - Opens a quick view of the invoice
View Invoice - Takes you to the full invoice page with more details and options

Tips and Common Issues
Tip:
For patients with extensive billing history, always use the date filter to narrow down your search and improve system performance.
Note:
Filters are not preserved when you navigate away from the Billing Accounts page. You'll need to reapply them when you return.
Warning:
Ensure you're viewing the correct patient record before taking any billing actions. Always double-check the patient name and ID at the top of the record.
Troubleshooting
Filter not working properly - Try clearing all filters and applying them again one at a time to identify any conflicting criteria
Invoice preview not loading - Check if the patient has any finalized invoices. Only completed invoices can be previewed
Unable to access Billing Accounts - Verify your user permissions with your system administrator
Patient records not showing - Ensure you haven't applied filters that are excluding all patients from view
